The Basin Harbor Adirondack Chair is a unique piece of history, much like Basin Harbor Club. The chair is an original design created by second generation host, Allen Penfield Beach in 1909. The design was taken from the traditional slatback Adirondack chair developed in 1885 across Lake Champlain in Westport, New York.

The chairs are made in Vermont by woodworkers, crafted in pine and painted in the primary color palette of blue, red, yellow and green. They are available in 6 sizes for sale and even come as a bracelet or necklace charm and inspire many pictures and memories of visits to Basin Harbor Club and Resort. The chair currently serves as the logo for Basin Harbor Club.

The paint on the adirondack chairs is a urethane alkyd gloss enamel paint which provides the appropriate seal on the soft pine. This is an industrial paint and will withstand rain and seasonal weather. We do recommend that the chairs be brought in in harsher climates or seasons.
The 5 smaller sizes are available online at www.basinharbor.com and are shipped UPS Ground. The adult sizes must go freight and we would be happy to provide a shipping quote if provided with number of chairs desired and a shipping zip code. Email us or call us at 802.475.2311.
