Howard Frank Mosher

Mosher's new novel, Walking to Gatlinburg, is a spellbinding story of survival, wilderness adventure, mystery and love in the time of the Civil War. Morgan Kinneson is both hunter and hunted. Best-selling author, Howard Norman, returns with a new novel, What is Left, the Daughter, an erotically charged literary novel set on the Atlantic coast of Canada during World War II, that follows Wyatt Hillyer after the suicides of both his parents on the same day.  The author continues his tradition of books that are spare, gorgeous and immensely entertaining.

Hike and paddle the Champlain Valley with two nature writers. Elizabeth Bassett, author of Nature Walks in Northwest Vermont and the Champlain Valley and Margaret Holder, author of A Kayaker's Guide to Lake Champlain will talk about their books and give tips for some of the best hikes and kayak trips from Basin Harbor.

Learn about sheep and their care with this fun book by Leda Shubert, Feeding the Sheep.Leda will be joined by Vermont illustrator, Bonnie Christensen, whose latest book, Django is about the world's best jazz guitarist. Leda will speak about the challenges of writing a picture book and Bonnie will talk about the art of illustration.

Erica S. Perl is an established picture book author (most recently of Chicken Butt!, illustrated by Henry Cole), and her new picture book is perceptive and warmly funny, with charming art from exciting illustrator Julia Denos, Dotty is a celebration of the power of friendship and imagination. Harry Potter meets Indiana Jones! These amazing VT authors present their new book "Middleworld".  Fourteen-year-old Max Murphy, video-gamer extraordinaire, is furious when his archaeologist parents cancel the family vacation to go on a dig in Central America. But things go from bad to worse when Max is summoned to join them, only to discover that his parents have vanished.Join them Monday at 7:30 in the Town Hall for an exciting presentations with some surprises!.
