the Children of Haiti

Dr. Renee Bergner will be here to share her experiences in Haiti and how every bit of hope and care can mean so much to the children of Haiti.Dr. Bergner is a local VT physician who with her late husband, spent many year working with the Albert Schweitzer Hospital. She will be assisting us in shipping the animals to Haiti.
With each ticket purchased, Basin Harbor Club will donate a special stuffed animal to the Albert Schweitzer Hospital in hopes that these animals will bring a child a little magic. Ticket holders will have a chance to adopt these animals and name them so they will go to the hospital with a personalized wish for the patients. The animals are from another family owned, generational Vermont company, Mary Meyer Toys in Townsend, VT.
Admission will include lawn games, kids activities, face painting,
and music by Josh Brooks,local teacher and musician. And the food!
Our chefs have had lots of fun creating a picnic buffet that will
delight your eyesand your mouth.
