A stay at Basin Harbor is a wonderful way to unwind in comfortable style. Our accommodations are carefully tailored to meet your needs. Couples can enjoy a romantic weekend in one of our historic guesthouses, or families can enjoy some bonding time in one of our 74 sprawling cottages.
Inspired by the natural beauty of Vermont, each cottage offers rustic charm and seclusion. Every one is individually named and has become a home away from home for the families who return year after year. The cottages, each with a distinctive floor plan, are nestled throughout the grounds of Basin Harbor, with views of Lake Champlain, gorgeous gardens, or the golf course. They are all within walking distance of dining, recreational and sports activities. Accommodations in the charming cottages range from one to three bedrooms with private bath(s), and many also have a living room for lounging. All boast a comfy summer home decor with varied features like decks or porches, custom millwork, and artisanal screen doors. A third of them have fireplaces made with native stone. And whether you request a cozy cottage for two or a spacious getaway for the whole family, all our cottages boast comfort and privacy that will make your stay at Basin Harbor exceptional.
There are also 28 rooms and 14 suites in one of four guesthouses – the Lodge, Harbor Homestead, Champlain House and Summit, each with all the comfort and convenience of a country inn. The Lodge (15 rooms) houses the Main Dining Room, Registration, the Concierge desk, and the Breezeway Gift Shop, which offers gifts, local artwork, newspapers, and sundries. The Champlain House has 6 spacious rooms. The Harbor Homestead (13 rooms) has been welcoming travelers since 1791. All of the guesthouses’ rooms have private baths, and are well appointed. The Summit building offers a unique set-up of studio, one, two and three bedroom combinations with lake and golf course views.
The cost of Basin Harbor accommodations vary with the season and selected meal plan, ranging from $150 to $550 per night based on double occupancy. |
