Well folks the heat wave is still here and no sign of breaking. We are in for temperatures as high as 98 today. We will see partly cloudy skies in the morning that will clear to some sun by midafternoon. Leading into the night the temperature will drop to the low 70’s and the sky will be clear.

Kick start your day with Tennis Core Strength Training at 8:45 AM and send the kids to Kids Camp at 9:30 AM. Adults can join in on some tennis fun with a clinic at 10:00 AM and the Round Robin competition at 11:00 AM. The kids can jump in on the fun with a Tiny Tots Clinic at 1:00PM and a Junior’s clinic at 2:00 PM.
Join Nancy at 9:45 AM at the Treehouse Wellness Center for a morning Yoga session. Open to all ages and experience levels, Nancy will help you greet the day as she guides you through a series of gentle stretches and breath work. For more workout opportunities, like Spinning at 11:00 AM, visit the Treehouse Wellness Center and sign up!
Get your craft on with Laura at our DIY Dream Catcher Class! Learn to weave your own dreamcatchers and add your own accessories to catch those bad dreams. Meet at the Art Studio at 2:00PM.
After lunch you can take part in the Family Fishing Tournament at 2:00 PM. Interested in Maritime? Stop by our neighbor the Lake Champlain Maritime Museum and learn about the American Revolution and how Lake Champlain affected the outcome, historic shipwrecks, and visit their floating exhibit. Don’t forget to check out the glass blowing exhibit and maybe try it for yourself.
Spend the afternoon outside with Charles on the Adirondack Hike, a 1-2 hour advanced hike in the largest state park in the US. The waterfront crew will boat you over to NY and you will get to enjoy an invigorating trek with great views of Lake Champlain. Don’t forget to wear sensible shoes and bring lots of water. This hike is not suitable for young kids or people with injuries.
Be sure to swing on by the Waterfront for a dip in the lake or to jump on our water trampolines in this heat. Don’t forget we have the Pool and plenty of frozen snacks at the Harbor Store. If you need a reusable water bottle visit the Breezeway Gift Shop and choose from a variety of colors or reuse your Basin Harbor water bottles. There will be Wet (iced) clothes available for guests at the Lodge, Waterfront, Golf Shop, and on bell carts. Additional water stations will also be found throughout the property. After dinner, head on over to Town Hall for Family Feud Night! Ever watch games shows on TV and thought it would be so cool to be a contestant? Now is your chance! Bring your family and friends and compete in a game of Family Feud, or tackle the Wheel of Fortune board with some lucky spins! Sign up with the Concierge to make sure you’ll be able to participate on stage.
