The heat is still here folks. We are looking at temperatures in the mid to high 90’s. We will see intervals of clouds and sunshine with the possibility of a stray shower or thunderstorm. The evening will be partly cloudy with thunderstorms developing after midnight. The temperature will dip in the low 70’s into the night.

Get out on the lake this morning with Charles at a 10:00 AM with the Barn Rock Paddle! With your choice of a kayak or canoe, paddle across the lake to New York’s Barn Rock. Please come prepared with your own water and sunscreen, and meet at the Waterfront. Note that all paddlers are welcome, but experience is encouraged and if children want to come, they need to be in a double kayak with an adult.
Let your artistic side shine with a 10:30 AM Pastels in the Garden Class with Laura. Take to the gardens in this basic botanical pastels class.
Head on over to the Maritime Museum and try your hand at Glass Blowing. Orwell Glass is back for another season and Glass blower Jacob is eager to work with you. In this workshop you will create a blown ornament and a pressed sun catcher. Sign up online at www.OrwellGlass.com!
Take a spin and conquer a strenuous track with sharp turns and exposed roots for a bit of an adrenaline rush on our Mountain Bike Trail Ride at 2:30 PM! Meet Charles at the waterfront for a fun filled thrilling afternoon.
At 2:00 PM, head over to the Red Mill field for Knocker Ball. Come run around and play last man standing with your friends and family in a giant bubble! Keep those bodies moving and stay until 4:00 PM for some Ultimate Frisbee. Make a team and challenge your friends and family with this fun game of Frisbee.
Thursday nights means Shore Dinner! Head on down to the North Dock and enjoy a classic lobster bake by the lake. Live jazz music adds the perfect complement to the views of the Adirondacks. Shore dinner is open from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, so please make your reservations with the concierge, front desk, or dinning staff. Stay around for a campfire and S’mores!
Not ready to end your night quite yet? Join us in the Town Hall at 9:00 PM for BINGO! Bring your family and friends to the most popular game around.
Woof! You’re a very lucky pooch that your people brought you here. As you will soon see, Basin Harbor is a very pet friendly resort. Please make sure you are always kept on a leash and are picked up after. There are Mutt Mitts around property. Also please remember to latch your cottages so your furry friends don’t get out.
