We are in for some sun this morning at Basin Harbor, with a few clouds scattered throughout the day. Temperatures will reach a high of 87 degrees so be sure to keep cool down at the Waterfront. As dinner rolls in we have a good chance of thunderstorms as the temperatures drop back into the 70s.

And our champion, Dawn from New Jersey, got the highest prize of $138 in the Black Out round! Thanks to everyone who came out!
If you’re an early bird, join us at the Treehouse Wellness Center’s Boot Camp! Starting at 7:00 AM, you can jog or bike to a variety of workout stations as the Basin Harbor campus is made into your gym for the morning! We also have a 9:45 AM Vinyasa Yoga class with Chessy, during which you will take on breath work and deep stretches to realign your mind and body.
Calling all gardeners and nature lovers! This morning at 10:00 AM we will be hosting a Garden Tour through our beautiful campus! The Basin Harbor gardeners will introduce you to the variety of flowering plants and the theme for this year’s gardens. Please meet on the Lodge Deck and be ready to walk!
Get crafty this morning at 10:30 AM, with April’s Watercolor Workshop! Using a variety of beginner techniques, you’ll be able to create your very own Basin Harbor masterpiece in this creative and relaxing workshop.
At 11:00 AM you can swing by the Treehouse Wellness Center to get F.I.T! This fun combination of cardiovascular exercise and strength training will get your heart rate up and give you the perfect Basin Harbor calorie burn! Or keep your workout outdoors by joining Colton on our 11:00 AM Adirondack Hike! You’ll hop across the lake for a moderate trek through the largest state park in the US and work up an appetite for lunch.
Join April in the Club Room for an Afternoon Acrylics session at 1:00 PM! Armed with an 8×8 canvas and a rainbow of acrylic paints, you can draw inspiration from your vacation and create a masterpiece to bring home with you. Sign up for a spot with the Concierge.
If you’d like to explore beyond the basin, join Matt on his Off-Property Hike to Buck Mountain at 2:00 PM! This is a fairly easy trek, good for families, and will take about 2 hours, depending on the group. Sign up with the Concierge, and wear comfortable shoes!
For something at a more leisurely pace, join the Narrated Cruise on the EScape at 2:30 PM. The trip will take you around our part of Lake Champlain and Captain Marty will share tidbits about the natural landscape, the rich historical context of our lovely slice of Vermont, and even bring you across to see the magnificent Palisades!
Colton has a good challenge for you this afternoon: his 4:00 PM Paddle Board session! Put your balance to the ultimate test in this 45-minute jaunt. We recommend paddle boarders with some experience as we leave the harbor, but all levels are welcome!
Ever wanted to learn the art of a quick pickle? Then sign up for our 4:00 PM Pickling 101 Workshop! Meet at the Ranger Room and be ready to pack your own jar with a spread of fresh vegetables, custom flavors, and homemade brine!
Tonight we have the Harbor Fair: dinner at the North Dock brings lawn games, a bouncy house, and balloon animals for the kids, plus a delicious lakeside buffet for all to enjoy! Please make your dining reservations with the Concierge.
