Our advice to you: Give yourself time to pick the cake. Begin your planning up to six months before. Once you know your colors and theme you can get that checked off your list before crunch time kicks in.
Next, don’t ask too many people for advice on your cake. Although it’s good to pick a cake that your guests will enjoy, pick a cake flavor and style that feels good to you.
Lastly, think beyond the cake. You can have a simple cake but a beautiful presentation with fruits, flowers, a beautiful vintage cake stand and so much more. Think about what props and decor you may have already for your tables and bring those into your cake presentation, too!
