Week 21: A Spring Update
It has been a busy month!
We’ve enjoyed beautiful weather (until this past weekend), already had a few fun events and have been able to welcome new and returning guests for our 127th season! We began the month with putting the finishing touches on the newly renovated Ranger Room. This is such a beautiful space! Gorgeous wood floors and exposed beams really make the beautiful cherry wood of the bar stand out. The docks and the water trampoline are out in the harbor just waiting for fishermen, kids and boats to make it feel like it’s really summer! The big red chair has found its home again up by the Town Hall and the golf course is in beautiful condition and all ready for you!
We hosted Homeward Bound Animal Welfare Center’s annual fundraiser called Woofstock! This event was so much fun. With about 200 hundred people and many of their dogs roaming around the property, it was a truly wonderful day of celebrating the furry family members in our lives. With demonstrations from various obedience and agility clubs and a show from the Green Mountain Dock Dogs in the Harbor, the day was an absolute blast!
This past weekend we celebrated Memorial Day with umbrellas and rain boots on hand. Although the weekend portion of the holiday was less than beautiful, Monday brought in a lot of reasons to be thankful. The Beach family took The Breeze in the Vergennes Parade! With Week 21 coming to close, we’re excited for more of you to come back and say hello!
