Event Set Up Lead

Summary:

The Event Set Up team prepares, and breaks down of all group meetings, weddings, luncheons and banquets including outdoor dining.

Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Ensure function setup and breakdown are executed correctly and efficiently  
  • Ensure team has necessary tools to complete job 
  • Build strong relationship with clients, guest, and vendors 
  • Forecast and adequately schedule team to meet operational needs and desired targets 
  • Working alongside setup crew, coaching and counseling when applicable  
  • Constant inspection and evaluation of banquet rooms and equipment 
  • Prepare assignments and conduct pre shifts with the team   
  • Knowledge on audio and visual equipment  
  • Prepare daily reports and submit to management 
  • Position requires heavy lifting up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
  • The ability to drive a manual transmission vehicle.
  • Must be detail oriented and have ability to read BEOs and follow instruction.
