Revenue Auditor

Summary:

The Revenue Auditor is a member of the Accounting Department, reporting to the Accounting Manager, and is responsible for the daily revenue and receipt audit.  Diversity helps us build a team that represents a variety of backgrounds, skills, and perspectives. We are an Equal Opportunity Employer

Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Collect and sort paperwork and receipts daily from all venues.
  • Reconcile property management and point of sale software reports with paperwork, cash and credit card merchant processor software reports and prepare preliminary daily sales journal for review and upload.
  • Timely recap/update and reconciling of all tip/gratuity related worksheets needed for payroll processing.
  • Research reconciling items, and process adjustments after approved by Accounting Manager.
  • Populate revenue and receipt tracking Excel sheets.
  • Pull cash drop envelopes and prepare bank deposit for final review and verification
  • Other duties as assigned. 

Essential Qualifications and Competencies

  • High school or GED required. 
  • Minimum of 2 years of hotel audit, cash accounting, or bookkeeping experience required.
  • Ability to speak and write English in a clear and concise manner
  • Critical evaluation skills.
  • A commitment to ethical practice and legal compliance.
  • Ability to operate a computer in a Windows environment, strong Excel skills and proficient in the use of a calculator and copier/scanner/fax.
  • May involve walking between venues and climbing stairs between floors.
  • Reliable transportation required
  • Must be willing and able to pass a background check.
