From the time that Basin Harbor opened in 1886, food has been the central part of every guest’s experience. Although the beginning was humble, fresh and local food has always been the highlight of daily life. The restaurants of Basin Harbor and their menus reflect time-honored favorites as well as bold contemporary flavors. The bounty of Vermont is the unifying theme throughout with resort dining menus featuring local producers.

The Red Mill’s distinctive décor features rough-hewn beams, antique farm equipment, and walls covered in Basin Harbor nostalgia making it a resort favorite. The renovated sawmill features the best fresh and local food ingredients, signature Vermont brews and a casual dining experience. Opening for the season May 20th!
Dinners at Ardelia’s, our main dining room, are a tradition all their own. Get dressed up, enjoy the panoramic views of the harbor, and savor the cuisine and one another’s company.
North Dock dinners are a perfect way to enjoy Summer in Vermont. Dine al fresco and soak in the sunset along the shores of Lake Champlain. Our themed buffet North Dock Dinners include Shore Dinner (Thursdays), Vermont Picnic (Tuesdays), and Lakeside Cookout (Sundays) during Social Season.
Megumi Sushi is located in the Main Lodge in our Breezeway Cafe. Fresh, made to order sushi can be enjoyed to-go or with a cocktail on the Lodge Lawn.
Hattie’s Pies offers whole pizzas, fresh salads, and hearty sandwiches. Hattie’s is available Mid-June to Labor Day for both Lunch and Dinner and is located inside the Ranger Room building.
Full Belly Food Truck is conveniently located at The Waterfront. Enjoy a variety of food truck style menu items from the comfort of your beach chair. Available Mid-June to Labor Day for both Lunch and Dinner.
