With 700-acres of Vermont countryside and waterfront, Basin Harbor is a biker’s paradise. Take an afternoon ride to the Champlain Bridge, or a shorter seven-mile cruise into downtown Vergennes for shopping or a pastry at Vergennes Laundry. If exploring the woods is more your style, pick up a trail map from the concierge and head out for a morning pedal.

If you need a bike, we have rentals ranging from road bikes to mountain bikes. Pick your terrain and we will have the right two-wheeled adventurer for you. We have a limited inventory of tow behind carriages available.

For Vermont biking routes, we suggest using Lake Champlain Bikeways. Their site has routes on both sides of the lake and provides detailed mile-by-mile directions.
